Crystallization Robot

The Astbury Centre Macromolecular Crystallography Unit houses two crystallization robots, a Douglas Instruments Oryx for routine use and a Cartesian Honeybee for nanolitre volume crystallization.

There is also a Hamilton Microstar liquid handling robot for screen making.

In addition, a range of incubators (4-30 oC) and Leica binocular microscopes are available for crystallization. A 4DX single crystal visible microspectrophotometer (350-800 nm) is also available, as are facilities for anaerobic crystallization and crystal mounting.
